Epiphone has announced the limited-edition Joe Bonamassa ES-355 Standard Outfit. It’s the sixth signature model that the brand has released with the illustrious bluesman and famed collector.

The axe is modelled after Bonamassa’s ES-355 semi-hollow body built by the Gibson Custom Shop. It has a three-ply maple/poplar/maple body and top, with a stylish Ebony finish and gold hardware to complete the look. The guitar also has a mahogany neck – in a SlimTaper-D profile – and a 12-inch-radius ebony fingerboard.

Electronics-wise, the ES-355 Standard Outfit is loaded with alnico II humbuckers: the ProBucker-2 and ProBucker-3 at the neck and bridge, respectively. The four-knob configuration of the typical ES-355 remain.

The guitar is stacked in the hardware department, which includes a Bigsby B7 vibrato tailpiece with a Vibramate String Spoiler, an ABR-1 LockTone Tune-o-Matic bridge, and Grover Rotomatic machine heads.

As an added touch, the back of the guitar’s headstock bears Bonamassa’s signature and the “2018 Limited Edition” logo in gold silkprint.

We’ll leave you with a demo by the virtuoso himself:
